FIELD: automotive industry; manufacture of friction components used in brake units of various automotive vehicles. SUBSTANCE: polymer friction composition includes 10 to 12 percent by mass phenolformaldehyde resin, 2 to 3 percent by mass butadiene-nitrile rubber, 0.4 to 0.5 percent by mass sulfur, 0.4 to 0.5 zinc oxide, 18 to 20 percent by mass copper-based metal-filler cuttings, 1 to 2 percent by mass aluminum, 9 to 11 percent by mass barytic concentrate, 1 to 8 percent by mass antimony trisulfide, 3 to 4 percent by mass puffed-up vermiculite, 5 to 6 percent by mass graphite, 0.5 to 1 percent by mass polytetrafluoroethylene, 0.5 to 1 percent by mass zinc stearate, 3 to 6 percent by mass molybdenum disulfide, 20 to 28 percent by mass fibrous basalt, and 6 to 18 percent by mass polybenzimidazol fibers. EFFECT: higher wearablity and stability of friction coefficient. 2 tbl
