FIELD: road-building machinery, particularly for compacting road-building materials, namely ones adapted for layered compaction of preplanned fill-up ground and gravel-and-macadam materials during motor road and other structure construction.

SUBSTANCE: roller assembly has case of resilient material provided with frame installed inside it, at least two rollers arranged on the frame and end walls installed at case ends and spaced apart from inner surface thereof. End walls are shaped to conform to aperture defined by space between the frame and lower part of inner case surface. Additional end walls are secured to the frame and are shaped to conform to aperture defined by space between the frame and upper part of inner case surface. End walls may be fixedly secured to the frame. The end walls may be provided with flexible covers secured to edges thereof and brought into contact with inner case surface. Additional end wall plane may be shifted into the case relative end wall plane.

EFFECT: simplified structure.
