FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: according to first version, directly before transfer from first mode of operation to second mode, injection parameters are changed so that characteristics of emission, first of all, noise level in engine gradually and smoothly approach characteristics of emission at second mode of operation by changing frequency of injection cycles with injection of part of fuel in process of first injection. According to second version, injection parameters are changed directly before transfer from first to second mode of operation so that characteristics of emission, first of all, noise level in engine gradually and smoothly approach characteristics of emission at second mode of operation by changing frequency of cycle of injection with injection of part of fuel at first injection. According to first version, fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine is furnished with means to change parameters of injection at transfer from first to second mode of operation so that characteristics of emission, first of all, engine noise level gradually and smoothly approach characteristics of emission at second mode of operation. For this purpose said means change frequency of injection cycles with injection of part of fuel during injection. According to second version, fuel injection control device for internal combustion engine is furnished with means to change parameters of injection when changing over from first to second mode of operation so that characteristics of emission, first of all, engine noise level gradually and smoothly approach characteristics of emission at second mode of operation by changing frequency of injection cycles with injection of part of fuel during first injection.

EFFECT: prevention of sudden and sharp rise of noise level in process of combustion.
