FIELD: medicine, ophthalmosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should carry out optic coherent tomography, perform horizontal corneal dissection passing through its optic center to transform scanning data into a graph with peaks of intensity of light reflection along vertical line corresponding to anterior, posterior corneal surface and interface followed by projection of peaks onto horizontal axis and detecting the distance between peaks' projections of interface and posterior corneal surface. Scanning results should be firstly transformed into digital data of a text file to plot graphs, moreover, for every scan of horizontal section individually. They should be summarized by vertical line, and corneal interface peak should be determined as that of maximal amplitude upon summarized graph within 100-200 mcm.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
