FIELD: sugar production industry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes blending brown sugar from the last crystallization massecuite with the first massecuite effluent from the first crystallization followed by mixture centrifugation to separate affination sugar from affinated sugar. Prior affination acetylated stearic acid monoglyceride in amount of 0.023-0.026 % (based on brown sugar mass) is introduced into the first massecuite effluent from the first crystallization.
EFFECT: affination method of improved efficiency; sugar with increased purity and decreased coloring.
