FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying massecuite into lower part of conical rotor of continuous centrifuge; providing movement of massecuite in thin layer up from below along rotor generatrix for separation of molasses and affination of sugar crystals with affination solution, with affination solution being outflow of first-grade massecuite of 76-80% purity heated to temperature 5-10 C above temperature of massecuite charged into rotor; feeding affination solution onto sugar crystals in rotor zone arranged at part making 0.68-0.78 the length of rotor generatrix; providing affination at pressure of 0.4-0.6 MPa and affination solution flow rate of 2.4-7.8 l/min; discharging molasses and affination in separate outflows from centrifuge.
