FIELD: electrical engineering; high- and superhigh-voltage current transformers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed outdoor high-voltage current transformer has cylindrical shell which is tightly secured on metal base and mounts cylindrical metal casing filled with insulating medium; this casing accommodates primary and secondary windings. Straight-line conductor of primary winding is installed along secondary-winding axis and its ends are secured on side walls of casing. Toroidal magnetic circuits of secondary winding are enclosed in toroidal electrostatic shield attached to top end of metal supporting tube that passes secondary-winding taps. Bottom end of tube is attached to base perpendicular to secondary-winding axis. Axis of threaded hole in casing wall is perpendicular to secondary-winding axis; drive screw in the form of threaded metal stud is fitted in threaded hole of casing wall. Supporting board is secured for rocking on stud end internal relative to transformer casing, its center of gravity being offset relative to stud axis. Opposite end of stud and threaded hole of casing are closed with tightly fitted lid.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design, facilitated pre-service procedures.
