FIELD: multi-stand lengthwise rolling mill.
SUBSTANCE: multi-stand rolling mill includes foundation with bed; stands with rolling rolls successively mounted in foundation by inclination angle 45° relative to horizon and by inclination angle 90° one relative to other. Rolling rolls are joined through spindles with reduction gears. Stands are mounted in such a way that their ends are adjoined one to other. Rolling mill also includes mechanism for clamping stands to foundation. Stands are rectangular ones. Foundation is provided for each stand with pair of prismatic struts mounted normally to rolling axis and forming bed. Between stands on their lateral surfaces levers for supporting spindles are mounted with possibility of changing their position along height. Upper levers are mounted with possibility of rotation in horizontal plane. Mechanism for clamping stands in foundation is wedge type one.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of mill, possibility for rapid change of separated stand or units of stand.
