FIELD: the invention refers to analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: the mode has phases: a reagent is fixed in electrochemical cell on minimum distance from the working electrode. At that the distance is such that transfer of electrochemically active substance from this field to the working electrode is diffusionally controlled, then the sample of the liquid is placed into the electrochemical cell in such a manner that the sample of the liquid is in the contact with the reagent. The working electrode and an antielectrode, the interaction of the component with the reagent is executed with receiving an electrochemically active substance; a potential between the working electrode and the antielectrode is applied. At that the potential is sufficient for electrochemical interaction of the electrochemically active substance on the working electrode, then the current of the electrochemical reaction on the working electrode is measured for getting measure of the speed of the chemical reaction.
EFFECT: simplification and expansion of its application at the expense providing possibilities of using for determination also of speeds of relatively slow reactions.
