FIELD: engineering of systems for controlling radio communication networks, possible implementation for construction of broadband radio networks, offering services of stationary network to clients.
SUBSTANCE: during preparation for switching of communication channel in adjacent radio network controller additional list of base stations is compiled, which can form additional set of candidates, if aforementioned adjacent controller of radio network is supposed to be made active radio network controller. If connection is switched to base station, which belongs to another radio network controller, user information is redirected appropriately for transfer to active radio network controller through controller node.
EFFECT: decreased load of main network in cell phone communication network and decreased transmission power together with switching of communication channel.
