FIELD: gene engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with methods for obtaining transgenic embryo. The method deals with incubating exogenous nucleic acid and spermatic caput either with destroyed or removed membrane. Then one should obtain a transgenic fertilized oocyte due to combined injection of exogenous nucleic acid and spermatic caput into unfertilized oocyte. Finally, it is necessary to develop fertilized oocyte into transgenic embryo. Another variant of the present innovation deals with preliminary obtaining spermatic caputs either with destroyed or removed membrane. The methods suggested enable to increase efficiency of transgenic transfer and increase the yield of transgenic animals. The innovation could be applied for obtaining cattle and other large animals due to gene engineering techniques to be applied to obtain pharmaceutical "factories" and as a source of organs or cells for xenotransplantation.
