SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of dihydronaphthalene represented by the formula (I):

The agent can be useful as a hypoglycemic agent, hypolipidemic agent, agent for prophylaxis and/or treatment of diseases associated with metabolic disturbances, agent increasing the content of HDL-cholesterol and reducing the content of LDL-cholesterol and/or VLDL-cholesterol and agent for weakening diabetes mellitus factor risk, and/or X-syndrome. Also, invention claims derivative of dihydronaphthalene representing 3-{5-{2-[2-(4-methylphenyl)-5-methyloxazol-4-yl]ethoxy}-3,4-dihydronaphthalen-1-yl}propanoic acid.
