FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises cylindrical closed inflatable shell mounted inside the pipeline. The cylindrical surface of the shell is provided with at least two ring seals. The ring seals are made of elastometer material, provided with monolithic outer layer, and have porous internal structure with closed pores. Each ring seal is made of a shape flexible to the transverse pressing. The shape consists of the outer part and base whose inner surface is cylindrical and secured to the outer cylindrical surface of the inflatable shell. The width of the base is equal or greater than that of the outer part of the ring seal. The cylindrical pressure shell is made of elastometer material or elastometer-woven material for permitting closing the gap between the inner side of the pipeline and outer side of the cylindrical closed shell when it is pressed by means of ring seals. The outer monolithic layer of each ring seal that face the wall of the pipeline to be shut off is provided with longitudinal ring ribs.
