SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of 9-aminoacridine that possess the expressed antitumor effect and low toxicity and correspond to the formula (I): 
wherein Y means a bond or represents compound of the formula: 
X means oxygen or sulfur atom; R1-R5 mean independently hydrogen, halogen atom, (C1-C4)-alkyl or (C1-C4)-alkoxy-group; R' and R'' represent (C1-C4)-alkyl or (C1-C4)-alkoxy-group; Z means (C1-C4)-alkoxy-group, and to their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Also, invention describes a method for preparing compounds of the formula (I).
