FIELD: medicine, in particular reagent strip to measure tested substance in hemoglobin-containing liquid such as blood.
SUBSTANCE: claimed reagent contains flavin-depending enzyme having specificity to analyzed substance; flavin cofactor (with the proviso that flavin is non bonded to enzyme); tetrazole dye precursor, electron transfer agent, and nitrite salt. Reagent causes dye formation that corresponds to concentration of analyzed substance. Nitrite salt disposes of hazards for dye formation non-enzymatically produced by hemoglobin. Reagent is preferably used in dry strip to measure glucose content in blood. Method of present invention males it possible to prevent hemoglobin interference in process of measuring of analyzed substance concentration.
EFFECT: improved diagnostic tests based on tetrazolium compounds.
