FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform cross-sectional osteotomy of the lower femoral third, resect the part of cortical plates along lateral surface of proximal fragment and along median surface of distal femoral fragment so, that resection height to be equal to the height of caput femoris standing position against cotyloid cavity, the width of removed part of cortical plates provided the chance for interacting proximal and distal fragment into each other and rotating to set caput femoris into cotyloid cavity. It is necessary to introduce fragments into each other and fix them with screws. One should descend greater trochanter together with adjoining gluteus minimus and gluteus medius muscles onto lateral femoral surface at keeping its growth area. One should fix descended trochanter with screws. The innovation enables to improve the function of patient's hip joint.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
