SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of power supply of the electrical load containing a gas-discharge interval and may be used in electrical engineering, illumination engineering, electrical conversion engineering at creation of the power sources, the control systems of ozonizers, the gas discharge lamps, the electrical filters and other electrical loads containing a gas-discharge interval. The technical result is a decrease of power inputs at operation of an electrical load containing a gas-discharge interval. Power supply of the electrical load containing a gas-discharge interval is exercised by the bipolar current pulses of periodical sequence having the quasi-rectangular form with the independently adjustable amplitude, frequency and pulse ratio.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a decrease of power inputs at operation of an electrical load containing a gas-discharge interval.
