FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relate to a method of producing chemical vitreous fibre, with phosphorus content of at least 0.5% in terms of P2O5 wt %. The method involves loading mineral material, which contains briquettes, melting the load in a furnace and moulding fibres form the melt. The briquettes contain material from non-primary rock, containing at least 2% phosphorus. The material from non-primary rock is ash from sewage sludges and briquettes contain up to 15 wt % of this ash.
EFFECT: increased compression strength of briquettes.
