FIELD: utilization of the man-caused raw materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of utilization of the man-caused raw materials, in particular, to ash-and-slag wastes from combustion of coals for production of a mineral cotton wool with associated extraction of iron. The technical result of the invention is production of a mineral cotton wool with the temperature of utilization up to 1000°C. The method of production of the mineral cotton wool with the temperature of utilization up to 1000°C from the man-caused raw materials includes operations of a melting in the reduction medium with a complete separation of the melt into a silicate and a metallic based on iron parts, the subsequent blowing of the silicate part with a remaining share of iron of no more than 0.05 % using a water-blowing method. The metallic part of the melt based on iron is cast out into the steel molds for utilization in metallurgy.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of a mineral cotton wool with the temperature of utilization up to 1000°C.
