FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides fuel oil production process, which can be applied both in refineries and at heat-and-power stations. Fuel is obtained y preliminarily preparing emulsion of water in light petroleum processing fractions. Resulting emulsion is then introduced into initial mixture of heavy petroleum fractions mediated by hydrodynamic cavitation treatment.
EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency due to reduced consumption of light petroleum fractions.
