SUBSTANCE: one should carry out ultrasound gray-scale B-scanning at detecting tumor sizes; additionally, it is necessary to carry out chromatic Doppler vascular mapping of choroids melanoma along with detecting the parameters of circulation rate in them. At tumor's height being below 3.5 mm and no vessels in it or maximal systolic circulation rate in tumor vessels being below 7.6 cm/sec and the same tumor height one should consider diode-laser transpupillary thermotherapy to be useful for indication.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
