FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves intravenously introducing chlorine row photosensitizer at a dose of 1.0 mg/kg during 10 min. Then, neoplasm is exposed to laser radiation at wavelength corresponding to photosensitizer light absorption maximum with 5-10% area overlap of neighboring fields. Tumor periphery is irradiated with intact tissue being caught not less than 1 mm far from ophthalmoscopically visible tumor boundary at power density of 25-40 J/cm2. Tumor center is irradiated with single field by applying power density of 110-120 J/cm2. Next, transpupillary thermotherapy is carried out according to standard method.
EFFECT: potentiated local hyperthermy effectiveness; reduced heat discharge; uniform and deep tumor tissue warming-up.
