FIELD: experimental hydro-dynamics, possible use in engine construction for estimating speed of fuel-air jet during injection of fuel.
SUBSTANCE: through pulse dispersive stream in two sections at base distance from each other light emission is let, its relative intensiveness is measured after passing through pulse dispersive stream and mass of this stream inputs determined. Then mass difference values for pulse dispersive stream are memorized serially from beginning time in each following moment of transportation of pulse dispersive stream, received by incrementing splitting time for given value, less than stream transportation time range. For random moments of transportation time, as which multiple moments of stream transportation time are utilized, total number of which is determined by relation of pulse dispersive stream transportation time to given value of splitting time, masses differences are determined and mass transfer speeds of pulse dispersive flow, as relation of base distance to time interval of transportation of even masses of stream, transported through two cross-sections.
EFFECT: realistic measurement of mass transfer speed of pulse dispersive stream through two cross-sections at given distance from each other for all time moments of transporting of aforementioned stream.
