FIELD: measurement in pulse flows. SUBSTANCE: method consists in isolation of thermal radiation of particles, in measurement of intensity of luminous radiation in sections specified by photodetectors placed along particle flow at known distances one from another and determining boundaries of particle velocity measurement section, in determination of intensity of particle flow by intensity of luminous radiation, of density of particle flow by difference of intensities of particle flow in sections specifying boundaries of particle flow measurement section. Particle velocity is found as relation of intensity of particle flow across inlet section of particle velocity measurement section to density of particle flow across particle velocity measurement section in correspondence with expression given in description of invention. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy thanks to additional determination of velocities of identical portions of particles at unspecified time moment. 1 dwg
