FIELD: transport engineering; cross-country wheeled vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, each steerable wheel is turned in horizontal plane passing along geometric axis of wheel, with peripheral part of wheel turned at permanent position of its hub and axle. To turn peripheral part of wheel is said horizontal plane, force is applied to wheel rim through rollers brought in contact with wheel rim at each cornering of vehicle. Said rollers are moved at cornering along arc-like path in said horizontal plane.
EFFECT: provision of optimum stable movement along curvilinear path for railless vehicles with wheels of improved elasticity.
