FIELD: engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises supplying liquid and gas fuel, igniting fuel by means of electric ignition system, starting the engine with the use of gas-gasoline mixture, heating the engine up to a temperature of 60°±5°C using gasoline-air mixture, control of fuel type and concentration, and control of fuel supply during engine operation by means of the electronic control unit by the signal from the temperature gauges and load. When the temperature of the engine reaches 60°±5°C, the gas injector is set in operation, liquid fuel injector stops operate, and engine operate with the use of gas. In the beginning of motion, when the speed of rotation increases, the injector of liquid fuel is activated thus providing the engine with gas-gasoline-air mixture. When the speed of rotation of the engine reaches a level corresponding to the maximum power, the injector of liquid fuel is cut off and the engine continues to operate with the use of gas.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of engine.
