FIELD: engineering of measuring equipment, possible use for determining speed of objects.
SUBSTANCE: by means of wave source, electromagnetic wave is generated, after that by means of waves receiver wave is received, average and maximal signal amplitude values are measured at output of receiver, transverse component of relative movement speed of source and receiver of waves is calculated in accordance to formula
where - average value of signal amplitude at output of waves receiver; EΣmax - maximal value of signal amplitude at output of waves receiver; c - wave movement speed.
EFFECT: engineering of new technical means for measuring relative movement speed of source and receiver of waves.
