FIELD: oil production industry, particularly well preparation to oil production equipment lowering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves lowering former including two sections rigidly connected one to another and adapter to simulate electric submersible pump size in well. Each section has dimension so that rings defining section diameter are split and are fixed with pins on larger section diameter in elastodeformed state. Independent measuring device is installed between the sections in hollow module. The independent measuring device meters former deformation in continuous mode when former moves through the full well bore and records and stores information in independent electronic unit. After obtained information decoding optimal electric submersible pump size, electric submersible pump lowering rate are determined and nonfailure operating time is predicted.
EFFECT: increased reliability and rate of well bore parameter measurements.
