FIELD: environment protection, particularly to clean water body, preferably small rivers, streams and waterways, of oil and oil product spills.
SUBSTANCE: boom comprises core of polymeric material, which provides boom flowability and tubular shell arranged around the core. The tubular shell is made of synthetic material. The boom also has filler made as sorbing polymeric fibers having different densities. The core is single sealed vessel or several serially installed sealed vessels. Polymeric sorbing fibers of the filler alternate and are impregnated with composition including microorganisms and biogenic nutrition substance. The microorganisms are adapted to destruct oil and oil products. The filler is secured to the tubular shell along the full length thereof and is arranged from both opposite core ends. Sealed vessel or vessels are hollow.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of water cleaning of oil and oil products.
