FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus consists of one or more oil-sorbing booms joined to each other and lying on the water surface, each having a core made from polymer material which ensures floatation of the boom and a tubular shell around the core. Each boom has sorbing natural and synthetic fibres of equal or different length and density 0.01-3 g/cm3 with microorganisms. The fibres are tied to the tubular shell into one or more rows directed on the length of the latter. Each row has alternating intertwined or non-intertwined said natural and synthetic sorbing fibres.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the apparatus, as well as operational and technical properties.
