FIELD: engineering of television equipment, possible use for transforming scanning standard in systems, where in image indicator (for example, television camera) scanning with vertical rows is utilized, and in displaying device (for example, video monitor) scanning with horizontal rows is utilized.

SUBSTANCE: duration of counts read from memory is decreased to half of their movement period, and during second half of period zero value is forced. Output image received absolutely the same spatial-temporal structure as input image, and maintains geometric format and clarity of input image.

EFFECT: prevented distortions of image during transformation of television standard, caused but lack of consideration for smoothing and overlapping of video-information, contained in two fields of input cross-row video signal.
