FIELD: medicine, radiation diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting tumors, inflammations and dystrophic lesions. One should carry out magnetic-resonance tomography (MRT), analysis and evaluation of native T1 VI and T2 VI. Moreover, one should evaluate native T1 VI in impulse sequence (IS) SE and T2 VI in IS GRE. At visual detection of hypointensive area on T1 VI in IS SE, and hyperintensive area on T2 VI in IS GRE one should determine malignancy of chondromas. The application of the present innovation enables to remove differential diagnostic difficulties in detecting malignancy of chondromas, choose correctly the site for biopsy and avoid groundless operative interferences or inadequate conservative curative procedures.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
