FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in checking up anti-skidding electronic control system and device connected thereto to estimate the state of aforesaid system. Vehicle tested axle is arranged on test bench support rollers and one flywheel is uncoupled from support rollers it interacts with and support said tested vehicle axle. Test conditions are set by accelerating test bench inertia masses and tested axle wheels mounted on said support rollers. Difference in angular velocities of tested axle wheels and their braking force are measured to estimate the state of anti-skidding system. Test bench comprises four flywheels linked up with support rollers, and wheels angular velocity measuring device connected to computer via analog-to-digital converter. Support roller shafts are furnished with devices designed to measure resistance to wheels turning. Fly wheel and support rollers are linked up with chain gear and coupling. Flywheels of one platform and those of another platform are linked up via reduction gear and propeller shaft.
