FIELD: medicine; traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: splint can be used for treating and rehabilitating deformations in ankle-joint and foot areas. Orthopedic splint has sole with brackets in form of pads and posts and autonomous instep/arch supporter. Post is made in form of plate, which turns up in a gutter and at the very top - to be embraced by loops of swivel belt. Splint is made of thermosetting plastics for bend at heating.
EFFECT: reduced rehabilitation period; better comfort at treatment.
