FIELD: ironmongery, particularly locks adapted for locking and sealing doors of box cars, containers, tank hatches, hopper car handwheels and for load protection during transportation.

SUBSTANCE: locking and sealing device comprises cable cut with rest connected to the first cable end, body with the first through channel for free cable end passage and with at least one the second channel for spring-loaded stop member receiving. The second channel extends at an angle and is communicated with the first one. The stop member is made as body of revolution. Free cable end is reduced and comprises spaced fixing immovable members connected thereto. The fixing immovable members are formed of material having strength and deformation characteristics exceeding that of cable and are arranged at free cable end so that when the device is closed extreme members cover inlet and outlet orifices of through channel. Distance between central adjacent members is equal to several stop member dimensions.

EFFECT: increased mechanical strength.
