SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes measuring of arc voltage with frequency of not more than 1000 Hz followed by isolation of arc voltage signals with frequency of 300 and/or 600, and/or 900 Hz and determination of interelectrode distance based on the same.
EFFECT: method for controlling of vacuum arc-melting process of increased accuracy.
