FIELD: decontamination of potable water, water in swimming pools, disinfection of reservoirs for storage of water, sanitary equipment and appliances.

SUBSTANCE: proposed solid compound contains sodium salt dihydrate of dichloroiso cyanuric acid in the amount of 3-250 parts by mass, succinic acid in the amount of 5-100 parts by mass and sodium chloride in the amount of 3-50 parts by mass; it also additionally contains sodium bicarbonate in the amount of 10-250 parts by mass. Proposed solid compound ensures effective decontamination of water as compared with standard specimens.

EFFECT: facilitated decontamination process; improved quality of decontaminated potable water.
