FIELD: geophysics; prospecting.
SUBSTANCE: method of detection of boundary in ground bed is offered to find the boundary between first and second areas of bed which areas have different resistivities. First area of bed is crossed by shaft of well by means of well-logging device provided with several electrodes including central one. Place of location of well-logging device is chosen in shaft of well. Assumption is made on position of boundary relatively chosen place of location of well-logging device. Target point is selected outside shaft relatively chosen place of location and target value is chosen for selected parameter in target point. Assumption is made on model according to which model the well-logging device in well's shaft is surrounded by uniform bed which has resistivity of first area of bed. The way of energizing of two electrodes is determined to provide target value of selected parameter in target point. Control parameter is chosen onto control electrode. Well-logging device is placed in selected place of location in well's shaft. Value of detection of control parameter is determined basing upon method of energizing of two mentioned electrodes. Value of detection of control parameter is interpreted to find the boundary.
EFFECT: improved truth of results of prospecting.
