METHOD FOR OIL GATHERING FROM UNDER ICE COVERING FLOWING WATER RESERVOIR, NAMELY RIVER Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E02B15/04 E02B15/10 

FIELD: oil-trunk pipeline maintenance, particularly to gather immovable oil layer located under ice.

SUBSTANCE: method involves localizing oil spot by installing harbor boom formed in the first ice-hole across river upstream of oil spot; mounting winches along the first ice-hole; creating the second ice-hole crossing river downstream of oil spot; cutting longitudinal ice-hole located at transversal ice-hole ends; arranging oil-collection unit at the first ice-hole edge; connecting ropes to the oil-collection unit; moving free rope ends through longitudinal ice-hole and connecting thereof to barrels of winches installed at the second ice-hole edge; connecting oil-collection unit with ropes wound around barrels of winch installed at the first transversal ice-hole edge and submersing oil-collection unit under ice; pressing oil-collection unit to ice surface by filling inflatable balloons thereof with air; moving oil-collection unit from the first ice-hole to another one.

EFFECT: improved environment protection, increased efficiency of immovable oil layer after localization thereof, possibility to collect movable ice layer in vessels, increased simplicity, decreased time and costs of ice gathering from water surface.
