FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: hydrostatic bearing comprises housing, passage for supplying lubricant, shaft, bushing that is mounted in the housing and embraces the shaft, and floating ring controller. The bushing is mounted to provide a spaced between the shaft and the bushing in which a load-bearing lubricating layer is generated during operation. The ring controller embraces the bushing and defines a slot throttle together with the outer cylindrical surface of the bushing. The slot throttle is connected with the load-bearing lubricating layer. The surfaces of the bushing and housing define radial slot throttling spaces together with faces of the controller. The bushing is provided with the passage for supplying lubricant, ring grooves that are provided on the outer cylindrical surface of the bushing and connected with the passage for supplying lubricant, ring projections arranged over the edges of the outer cylindrical surface of the bushing and defining step slot throttling spaces with the mating cylindrical surface of the controller, and radial passages that connect the load-bearing lubricating layer with the controlled slot throttle interposed between the ring grooves.
EFFECT: simplified assembling and manufacturing parts of the bushing.
