FIELD: biology, embryology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for culturing zygote and/or embryo and a composition for addition in the culturing medium of zygotes and/or embryos. Invention involves culturing zygote and/or embryo by placing zygote or embryo in the cultural medium and their culturing. The cultural medium comprises the effective amount of one anti-sense oligonucleotide with length 17-30 nucleotides each of that is complementary to mRNA of at least one of the following genes: gene-inductors of apoptosis, such as HRK, FAS, FASL, BAX, Caspasa-3, genes of growth factors, such as IGF1, gene-receptors of growth factors, such as IGF1R, genes regulating the dividing embryos rate, such as HLA-E, HLA-F, HLA-G, genes of cellular stress, such as HSF1 and HSF2. The composition added in the culturing medium of zygotes and/or embryos comprises one or more of above described anti-sense oligonucleotide and an acceptable solvent. The advantage of invention involves reducing degree of fragmentation of embryos, enhancing the yield of embryos and zygotes with the normal morphology and enhancing the therapeutic effectiveness in treatment of sterility.
