FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining output voltage and transformation ratio of the thin-film capacitive gage as a function of temperature and storing the results in memory. The temperature dependencies of the coefficients of dielectric permeability, flexibility modulus, and output voltage and sizes of the gage plates are obtained from the results of a preliminary experimental study. The device comprises thin-film capacitive gage, charge and voltage amplifiers, switch, units for storing, multiplication, and polarization, and indicator and control unit. The gage is connected with the inputs of the dividing unit, multiplying unit, and memory unit through the charge and voltage amplifiers. The memory unit is connected with the outputs of the units for multiplying and dividing. The other outputs of the units are connected with the indicator. The control unit is connected with the control inputs of the memory unit, units for multiplying and dividing, and switch.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
