FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enzymatic method for production of L-glutamic acid. Claimed method includes microorganism culturing which is capable of L-glutamic acid producing in liquid medium. Medium pH is adjusted up to value wherein produced L-glutamic acid may be precipitated, providing that L-glutamic acid is produced and accumulated with simultaneous deposition. Moreover process for forming of L-glutamic acid crystals in medium is carried out when L-glutamic acid concentration in medium is higher than concentration of spontaneous crystallization. L-glutamic acid crystal forming in medium is carried out by addition of L-glutamic acid crystals. Microorganism producing L-glutamic acid can metabolize carbon source in liquid medium containing L-glutamic acid in saturated concentration and carbon source, at pH 5 or lower and can accumulate L-glutamic acid in amount, higher than saturated concentration L-glutamic acid in liquid medium at abovementioned pH.
EFFECT: effective method for production of L-glutamic acid.
