FIELD: biotechnology, in particular method for production of L-amino acid.
SUBSTANCE: L-amino acid is obtained by cultivation of microorganism capable to produce L-amino acid in medium, followed by collection of L-amino acid from medium. As microorganism gram-negative bacteria is used, wherein said bacteria has Enthner-Dudorov pathway and is modified in such a manner that 6-phosphogluconate dehydratase activity or 2-keto-3-deoxy-6-phosphogluconate aldolase activity, or both activities are enhanced.
EFFECT: method for production of L-amino acid with high effectiveness.
