FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has composite part (4) connectable to ankle bone (2) making upper sliding surface (10), composite part (3) connectable to tibia (1) making lower sliding surface (7) and intermediate piece (5) forming two sliding surfaces (15,16) coming in engagement with sliding surfaces (7,10) of said composite parts that determines their frontal direction. Intermediate piece (5) is wedge-shaped in frontal plane. Endoprosthesis system for substituting talocrural joint has composite part (4) connectable to ankle bone (2) making upper sliding surface (10), composite part (3) connectable to tibia (1) making lower sliding surface (7) and intermediate piece (5) forming two sliding surfaces (15,16) coming in engagement with sliding surfaces of components that determines their frontal direction. Various intermediate pieces are available. They form sharpening angles between upper sliding surface (15) and lower sliding surface (16) in frontal plane.
EFFECT: prevented stresses in lateral and median ligaments.
