FIELD: technology for controlling objects by means of vortex currents.
SUBSTANCE: sets of control points are selected on surface, closest to probe. Probe is positioned in first selected point. Transfer vortex currents are induced in object. Signal of one or two receivers is recorded. Amplitude of first milliseconds of signal is utilized for determining characteristic value Φ of electromagnetic field, formed by vortex currents. Presence of defect in control point is determined, if characteristic value Φ substantially differs from normal.
EFFECT: increased speed of operation, possible detection of smaller defects.
