FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, production of drop-type beds.

SUBSTANCE: drop-type bed has rotating frame, two immovable supports and rotary mechanism comprising two gas compression springs located at sides of bed rotary frame. First fastening member for fastening one end of gas compression spring of rotary mechanism is positioned on rotary frame at point offset relative to head of the bed by value greater than offset of bearings, and second fastening member for fastening second end of gas compression spring is positioned on flange of rotary mechanism, below horizontal line extending through axis of bearing at distance from head of the bed greater than offset of bearing. Distance between axes of fastening members in vertical position of bed is smaller than length of gas compression spring in its free state.

EFFECT: simplified mounting of drop-type bed and its rotary mechanism and provision for mounting of bed at bed location during building of bed in furniture.
