FIELD: investigating or analyzing materials.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises illuminating the large-scale object with penetrating radiation, generating fan-shaped beams of penetrating radiation by means of several sources of pulse braking radiation, e.g. betatrons, whose focuses are arranged over the horizontal line. The axes of the beams of each source cover the cross-section of the object completely. The radiation is recorded by the detecting members mounted in the plane of the beam. The moments of radiation generation are shift in time to allow them to be recorded separately.
EFFECT: reduced radiation dose and sizes.
