FIELD: technology for high speed packet transmission of descending data in mobile communications system with intellectual antenna.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, at the beginning of packet transmission of descending data, independently on condition of client terminal, through radio search channel all client terminals, ready for receipt, are queried for receipt of starting direction of arrival for each client terminal, after that using given direction of arrival intellectual antenna performs packet transmission of descending data to client terminal using starting direction diagram; on receipt of one packet client terminal returns message with confirmation of receipt, if received packet of descending data contains no errors, or request for repeated transmission, if descending packet contains erratic codes, while the system knows current position of client terminal and may use renewed direction diagram for tracking movement of client terminal; on basis of estimation of quality of packet received by client terminal, and also on basis of movement speed of client terminal, system adaptively adjusts length of descending data packet.

EFFECT: possible use of advantages of direction diagram, generated by intellectual antenna, in full measure, highly efficient packet transmission of descending data.
