METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INGUINAL HERNIA Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: one should dissect transverse fascia along the upper edge of inguinal space at about 5-6 mm against it, out of transverse fascia it is necessary to form a fragment at its bottom being on iliopubic cord. Then one should dissect hernial sac, carry out plasty of posterior wall of inguinal canal, external edge of rectus muscle sheath should be sutured with pubis, connected tendon and aponeurosis of transverse muscle should be sutured with internal surface of iliopubic cord by capturing the upper narrow part of transverse fascia remained after cutting the fragment. Then one should form deep inguinal ring and suture the fragment with connected tendon and aponeurosis of transverse muscle. The innovation enables to decrease hernial relapses.
